'MY FIRST ATLAS' (40 paged, sizes 31x24 cm) contains appropriately designed maps, enhanced with interesting drawings, games and a variety of entertainments. The pupils in years 1 and 2 (age 7-8) are introduced straightforwardly to the ideas and subjects of cartography.

The maps and schemes in this atlas are correspondently simplified (with respect to the children’s age) to represent geographic objects and phenomena in the best possible way. The maps ensure an easy development of spatial thinking of the children.

The Atlas contains elaborated explanations and guidance for usage, which are organized on the left pages for students in year 1 and on the right pages for students in year 2. The goal is an additional stress on the work with maps taking into consideration the natural curiosity of the children.

ATLAS 'THE PERSON AND SOCIETY' (40 pages, sizes 31x24 cm) - school years 3-4

The Atlas gives the opportunities for learning of cartographic elements by the theme: the world directions; compass; symbols; representation of water and lands. The geographical and historical maps in the Atlas are easy for understanding. The contour maps could be help teachers and students for knowledge assimilating and testing.

The historical maps follow the logic and historic succession of learned themes in 3rd and 4th grade of Bulgarian schools. They are connected with the reach history of Bulgaria.

The represented themes: Solar System; plants and animals; preserved objects are in help of school object “The person and nature”. The design of the Atlas combines children’s drawings, photos, and artists’ illustrations.

ATLAS GEOGRAPHY AND ECONOMICS - school year 5 (40 pages, sizes 31 x 24 cm). The Atlas contains 5 chapters:

Cartography;
The Earth - a planet in the Solar system;
Nature of the world;
World population;
Economy.

Color frames of pages divide them and this facilitates orientation in the contents.

The maps are compiled on the base of the newest statistical data, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The pages are expanded by photos and realistic drawings, which make the Atlas not only attractive but also interesting cartographic product.

OUTLINE MAPS GEOGRAPHY AND ECONOMICS - school year 5 (16 pages, sizes 31 x 24 cm).

The first steps in map making are showed. They give possibilities for tracing the route of the famous voyagers; determine of geographical locations of the objects using maps; and measure of the distance when you know the map scale.

Themes about Earth structure and motions; Continents and Oceans; Nature zones; International organizations, Countries of the world and Economy are presented.

Clear tasks for compiling of every map are given; a legend place on a page is separated.

GEOGRAPHY (40 pages) - school year 6

The Atlas for 6th year students studying Geography was completed according to the most modern international standards in cartography, using electronic map bases and data for 2002. The information was mapped to a high standard of accuracy coupled with modern design and quality publishing.

Realistic pictures present people, plants and animals.

The atlas also includes maps of the oceans and there is an information table giving data about the continents on the last page.

Outline contour maps for Geography are intended for homework and the student activities are included.

OUTLINE MAPS GEOGRAPHY AND ECONOMICS - school year 9 (16 pages, sizes 24 х 15.5 cm, 21 maps).

They are compiled under National Educational requirements and can be used for regular as well special studying of geography.

The outline maps give possibilities for map making on the base of statistical data and information, which could be received by Internet via WorldFactBook, updated every year on web page: www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook, as well by other Internet pages, Bulgarian and International statistics, literature and cartographic sources.

THE ATLAS 'GEOGRAPHY AND ECONOMY' (92 maps, 80 pages, sizes 24x15,5 cm) for school year 10 (pupils of age 17) will help for fast and detailed learning of nature, population, settlements and economy of Bulgaria. The following parts are colored differentiated:

• Geographical situation, territory and borders;

• Population, settlements, administrative structure;
• Economy;
• Geography regions.

The Atlas is compiled using the Approved by Ministry of Education Geography curriculum and State Educational Requirements for School year 10. It has suitable format, modern design and quality of printing.
